Overview of Panorama House

Sleeping 14 across seven bedrooms, the house is particularly well suited to family celebrations, multi-generational holidays and groups looking for somewhere with a real sense of occasion. The main dining hall seats everyone together, several lounges and snug areas give different generations room to spread out and the lower-ground-floor games room provides plenty of entertainment when the group stays at home.
The setting is difficult to beat. A tree-lined chine leads from the grounds directly towards the beach without needing to cross a road, while the clifftop position opens up views across Bournemouth Bay towards the Purbecks, the Solent and the Isle of Wight. Branksome Chine, Westbourne and Bournemouth are all close by for restaurants, cafés, shopping and days out.
There is plenty of character too. Built in 1931, Panorama House has a fascinating history and has hosted a number of well-known guests over the years. The grand piano remains a feature of the main lounge and the house still has the feel of a much-loved coastal family home rather than a purpose-built holiday property.
Outside, secluded gated gardens give children and dogs space to enjoy the holiday, while seating areas make the most of the sea views. With parking for six cars, direct access to the coast and a full-size snooker table waiting downstairs, Panorama House is a superb choice for groups looking for a distinctive large holiday home by the sea.

Location & Things to Do Near Panorama House
Panorama House sits above one of the longest stretches of sandy coastline on England's south coast, with Bournemouth, Branksome Chine, Westbourne and Poole all within easy reach. The location gives groups the freedom to spend entire days on foot while still having plenty of larger attractions and towns nearby.
The beach below the house forms part of the continuous sweep of sand running between Poole and Bournemouth. Branksome Dene is particularly useful for dog owners because part of the beach remains dog friendly throughout the year, while neighbouring Branksome Chine has Blue Flag status, seasonal lifeguards, beach facilities and places to eat.
The seafront promenade makes walking and cycling especially easy. Heading east eventually brings guests towards Alum Chine and Bournemouth Pier, while travelling west leads towards Canford Cliffs and Sandbanks. Seasonal cycling restrictions apply on parts of the promenade during July and August.
Bournemouth itself offers far more than the beach. The central gardens run towards the pier and town centre, with mini golf, cafés and family attractions along the way. The pier, theatres, shops, restaurants and nightlife make it easy for different generations to find something to enjoy.
Westbourne is another handy option close to the property, with independent restaurants, cafés and shops. Closer to the sea, Branksome Chine has a beachside restaurant and plenty of space for relaxed lunches overlooking the sand.
For a quieter day, Compton Acres is around two miles away and has ten acres of landscaped gardens including Italian, Japanese and woodland areas. Sandbanks and Poole Harbour are also within easy reach for watersports, boat trips and ferries towards Studland and the Isle of Purbeck.
