Overview of Lee Shore
Lee Shore is a four-bedroom family holiday home sleeping eight in Milford on Sea, a popular coastal village between the New Forest and the Solent near to Lymington. Its quiet cul-de-sac setting gives guests a peaceful place to return to while keeping village shops, places to eat, coastal walks and beaches within easy reach and you can view more Lymington large holiday houses here.
The house has been arranged particularly well for families. A separate sitting room provides the main relaxation space, while the large kitchen diner seats all eight guests around one table. Beyond the kitchen, a conservatory creates another comfortable place to sit and opens directly onto the enclosed rear garden.
All four bedrooms are upstairs. Three have king-size beds, while the fourth contains full-size bunk beds intended for children. The property therefore sleeps eight but has a maximum adult occupancy of six, an important consideration when planning a group stay.
Outside, the private garden is laid mainly to lawn with planted borders and a patio for outdoor meals. A charcoal barbecue is provided and the garden shed can be used for bicycle storage, useful for guests planning to explore the local coast and New Forest on two wheels.
Milford on Sea itself combines a traditional village centre with a long stretch of coastline overlooking the Solent and Isle of Wight. Walks along Danes Stream and the Pleasure Grounds begin within around five minutes of the house, while the wider area opens up Hurst Spit, Keyhaven, the Solent Way and the New Forest National Park.

Who is Lee Shore Best For?
Lee Shore is primarily a family holiday home rather than accommodation for eight adults.
Three king-size bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation for up to six adults, while the fourth bedroom has full-size bunk beds specifically intended for children. The maximum adult occupancy is therefore six even though the total property capacity is eight.
This arrangement works particularly well for two families, with parents using two of the king rooms, children taking the bunk bedroom and the third king room available for grandparents, older children or another couple.
The combination of a separate sitting room, large kitchen diner and conservatory also gives a family group more than one place to spend time during the day.
Guests bringing a dog benefit from an enclosed rear garden and several walking options nearby, including Danes Stream, the Pleasure Grounds and longer coastal routes.

Location & Things to Do Near Lee Shore
Lee Shore is tucked into a quiet residential part of Milford on Sea, giving guests easy access to both village life and the Hampshire coast. The village centre is arranged around a traditional green and has an unusually good choice of independent cafés, pubs, restaurants and food shops for a village of its size, making it easy for a group to eat out or pick up supplies locally.
The coast is the main attraction. Milford on Sea has a long beachfront stretching from Hordle Cliff towards Hurst Road, with far-reaching views across Christchurch Bay, the Solent and towards the Needles on the Isle of Wight. Hordle Cliff reveals areas of sand at low tide and is popular for swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding, while Hurst Road combines the beach with a children's play area and elevated seafront walkway.
For walkers, the Solent Way runs through the area and provides excellent coastal routes towards Keyhaven. From there, Hurst Spit extends for around two miles towards Hurst Castle, the Tudor fortress built to defend the entrance to the Solent. Groups can walk along the shingle spit or take the seasonal ferry from Keyhaven, making it easy to combine both options in one day.
Keyhaven is also a good starting point for birdwatching around its marshes and sheltered harbour, as well as kayaking and paddleboarding.
Heading inland changes the scenery completely. The New Forest National Park is only around ten minutes away by car, opening up woodland, heath, cycling routes and walks among the free-roaming ponies and livestock.
Lymington adds a larger choice of shops, restaurants, marinas and waterfront activities, while families can also consider attractions such as New Forest Wildlife Park, Beaulieu and the area's adventure golf and cycling facilities.
