See our full range of large cottages for group holidays in Hope Cove here.
The main living space is one of the house's biggest strengths. The kitchen, dining area and lounge flow together, while large bifold doors open across the south and west sides of the room. On warm days, the deck becomes part of the living space, with areas for outdoor dining, lounging and enjoying views across the surrounding hills towards Bolt Tail and the sea.
The bedroom arrangement works particularly well for mixed family groups. Three double bedrooms are complemented by a twin and bunk room, making it easy to divide the house between couples, children and friends. Three bathrooms help keep mornings manageable when all ten guests are staying.
Outside, the hot tub provides a relaxing place to unwind after the beach or a long coastal walk. The large enclosed lawn gives children and dogs room to play, while the heated outdoor shower and wetsuit wash are especially useful after swimming, surfing or paddleboarding.
Hope Cove's two sandy beaches, village shop, pubs and restaurants are only a few minutes away on foot. With the South West Coast Path also close by, Seabrook offers an excellent combination of beach, village life and coastal walking for a large South Devon holiday.

Location & Things to Do Near Seabrook
Seabrook sits in Hope Cove, a small South Devon fishing village between Salcombe and Thurlestone. Its two sandy beaches, pubs, restaurants and direct access to the South West Coast Path make it particularly well suited to groups who want to spend much of their holiday outdoors.
Hope Cove has two main beaches, Inner Hope and Outer Hope, also known as Mouthwell Sands. Outer Hope is popular with families, swimmers and watersports enthusiasts, while Inner Hope offers a more sheltered setting for paddling, swimming and paddleboarding. Rock pools around the bay provide plenty to explore at lower tide.
The South West Coast Path runs straight through the village. One of the best local walks climbs towards Bolt Tail, where high cliffs provide sweeping views across Bigbury Bay. Continue towards Bolberry Down for another excellent stretch of coast with relatively level paths, viewpoints and open grassland.
From Bolberry, walkers can continue towards Soar Mill Cove or farther east towards Salcombe. In the opposite direction from Hope Cove, the coast path leads towards South Milton Sands, Thurlestone and eventually Bantham.
South Milton Sands is particularly appealing for families, with a broad sandy beach, rock pools and views of Thurlestone Rock. Bantham is one of the area's best-known surfing beaches and also provides access to the Avon Estuary.
Salcombe is around four miles away and adds waterfront shops, restaurants, sailing and boat trips, while Kingsbridge provides supermarkets, independent shops and cafés around the estuary.
For guests at Seabrook, the real advantage is how much can be enjoyed without planning a full day out. Beaches, swimming, coastal walks, food and drink are all close enough to become part of the daily routine.
