The main ground-floor living space is arranged to make the sea view part of everyday life. The kitchen, dining room and lounge flow together in an L-shaped layout, with patio doors opening onto the large terrace. All eight guests can eat together at the dining table before stepping outside for drinks overlooking the bay or heading down the private path to the sand.
Two bedrooms are on the ground floor, providing useful sleeping options for a multi-generational group. Upstairs are two further sea-view bedrooms, including the principal super king with its own shower room. A separate snug on this level opens onto a balcony with bistro seating, giving the group another place to relax away from the main lounge.
Outside, the sea-facing patio has several seating areas, sun loungers and a gas barbecue. Beyond the lawn, approximately eight steps lead through the beach huts to the promenade and Sandbanks Beach.
Poole Harbour is close by for sailing, paddleboarding and kayaking, while the Sandbanks chain ferry opens up Studland and the Isle of Purbeck. For groups searching for a large holiday home where getting to the beach takes seconds rather than a car journey, Beach Side has an exceptional setting.

Bedroom 3 is also downstairs and contains two single beds, making it particularly suitable for children, teenagers or friends.
Upstairs, Bedroom 1 has a fixed super king-size bed and enjoys a sea view. Its private en-suite has a shower cubicle, WC and basin.

Location & Things to Do Near Beach Side
Beach Side occupies an exceptional position on Sandbanks, with the beach immediately below the garden and Poole Harbour close by on the other side of the peninsula. This means a group can build much of the holiday around swimming, watersports and walking without needing to use the car every day.
Sandbanks Beach is known for its broad stretch of golden sand and long-standing Blue Flag status. Swimming, beach games and relaxed days on the sand are the obvious attractions, while the promenade continues east towards Canford Cliffs, Branksome Chine and Bournemouth for longer coastal walks.
Poole Harbour adds a different kind of waterside experience. Its more sheltered conditions make it a popular location for sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, with equipment hire and tuition available around Sandbanks.
At the western tip of the peninsula, the Sandbanks chain ferry carries pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles across the harbour entrance to Shell Bay. From here, Studland offers four miles of sandy beaches backed by dunes and heathland. Swimming, paddleboarding and sailing are available around the bay, while walkers can continue to Old Harry Rocks for dramatic chalk cliffs and views across Poole Bay.
Poole Quay makes another excellent day out, with waterfront restaurants, historic streets and sightseeing cruises around the harbour and along the Dorset coast. Boat trips also leave from Poole for Brownsea Island, where woodland, heath and lagoon habitats provide opportunities to spot the island's famous red squirrels.
Bournemouth is similarly easy to reach for shopping, gardens, restaurants, the pier and another long stretch of sandy beach. Together, Sandbanks, Poole Harbour, Studland and the wider Dorset coast provide more than enough variety for a full week beside the sea.
